Baby steps...

So.. this is my first attempt at blogging. I have been 'blog stalking' for months now and my man has decided that I am a blog-aholic and that I need serious help, but I have yet to start my own blog. I am still trying to figure the whole thing out but I am dedicated to making a really great blog for all you teachers who are taking on the wonderful (and slightly daunting) task of teaching Kindergarten in... FRENCH! Oui oui c'est vrai... We are trying to simultaneously teach 5 year olds how to tie shoes, read and make strong connections with literacy, add, subtract, and problem solve and... speak a whole new language. No problem right?

If you are anything like me, you see the task as an exciting, fantastic, hilarious, wonderful challenge. Especially if you are, as I am, an anglophone and have taken on the task of  spending your whole day speaking in YOUR second language. Well... this was the basis of my soon to be blog. A spot where French Immersion Kindergarten Teachers could come to share ideas and see what I have come up with in the way of activities, resources, games, etc. that can be used in French Immersion Kindergarten Programs. I hope that you will follow along with me as I experiment and trek through the world of blogging and the beautiful world of Kindergarten.
